MRS-J Bulletin（第4回）

はじめに
重里 有三（日本MRS会長）
MRS-J Bulletinは、材料科学・工学に関して特に優れた研究を報告する国際誌で定期刊行物です。材料研究における幅広い分野から、そして様々な分野横断的なテーマに関して取り扱っています。毎年開催されるMRS-J年次大会では、若手研究者（40歳以下）の優れた口頭発表やポスター発表に関して厳密に審査を行いthe Award for Encouragement of Researchが授与されます。その受賞者が、最新の研究成果を学術論文のコンパクトなレポートとしてこのBulletinに投稿し、日本MRS会員全員に公開されます。
