Scope:

In recent years, global warming and the worsening of water resource problems have become more serious worldwide, making it imperative to shift to a recycling-oriented society in order to realize a sustainable society. Water is the foundation of all life activities and is indispensable for the construction of social infrastructures, industrial activities, the medical sector and agricultural production. However, with population growth, urbanization and economic development, water resource depletion and water pollution are becoming increasingly serious in many parts of the world. The aim of this symposium is to discuss the latest research results in a wide range of fields, from 'basic water science' to 'water treatment technology', 'water-related information science' and 'advanced water measurement technology', and to promote the creation and social implementation of innovative water technologies to realise a recycling-oriented society.

Topics:

1. Fundamentals in Water Science
2. Advanced Materials, Devices and Process for Water Treatment
3. Water Treatment Technologie for Biomedical Applications
4. Advanced Informatics for Water
5. Advanced Measurement Technologies for Water
