Scope:
Photocatalyst accelerate many different kinds of photoreactions on its surface by absorbing light with different wavelength. In addition to titanium dioxide, there are many different materials with different sizes which can act as photocatalyst. Since the photocatalytic reaction takes place on the surface of solid, it is crucial to make nanostructured materials. Applications of photocatalysis and nanostructural materials cover many areas of research, including water splitting, disinfection of water, oxidation of organic contaminants, etc. In this session, all aspects of photocatalysis and/or nanostructural materials will be presented.
Topics:
- Fabrication of photocatalyst and/or nanostructured materials
- Characterization of photocatalyst and/or nanostructured materials
- Water splitting
- Disinfection of water
- Oxidation and/or decomposition of organic compounds
- Fundamentals of photocatalysis
- and other topics related to photocatalysis and nanostructured materials
