The MRS-J Bulletin is an international journal that reports high-impact research on advanced materials research across disciplines. At the annual MRS-J conference, the Award for Encouragement of Research is presented to an outstanding oral or poster presentation by a young researcher (under 40 years old). The winners of these awards submit their latest research results as compact reports of academic papers to this Bulletin, which is a periodical publication open to the membership.
