The National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) was established with the mission of improving the level of materials science and technology in Japan. NIMS invites applications for permanent researcher positions (age retirement system). We welcome applicants from outside Japan and applicants who have corporate experience. We are recruiting international researchers who can engage in the world-class, next-generation materials research.
